WHO WINS AT WRESTLEMANS?!?!? Wrestlemania IV VS Wrestlemania 34 (Rounds 2 through 5)

Read Part One Here

ROUND TWO:

Roman Reigns VS Daniel Bryan

Andre standing on Reigns's head plays into the psychology, as Bryan has a lot of attacks that go at the head in his arsenal.  So Reigns will act groggy at points, it will ultimately help him save face, as Daniel Bryan takes him out after a barn-burner similar to their Fastlane 2015 encounter but with the opposite result.

Winner: Daniel Bryan

Brock Lesnar VS The Undertaker

They beat the fuck out of each other all over the building until the refs have no choice but to throw it out.

Double countout.

AJ Styles VS John Cena

The match these two would have had at like Extreme Rules 2017 as a rematch from the Rumble or something.  You know how these two roll; they had a trilogy of amazing matches, AJ won two of the three, and I think he goes over here as well.

Winner: AJ Styles

Shinsuke Nakamura VS Andre The Giant

Andre's looking tired, and he's definitely feeling the force of Nakamura's kicks, even falling out of the ring after a Kinshasa.  He teases getting counted out, but at eight he's back up on the apron, headbutting Shin then stepping over the top rope to re-enter.  Andre is through fucking around, bear hugging Nakamura to wear him down, then sidewalk slam and the giant is too heavy to kick out from under.

Winner: Andre The Giant

The One Man Gang VS "Ravishing" Rick Rude

Rude is totally a heel here, though so is Gang.  There is no honor among thieves, as Rude uses every trick in the book to escape this encounter with his good looks in-tact.

Winner: "Ravishing" Rick Rude

Finn Balor VS Braun Strowman

Finn makes a valiant effort, but all for naught.  Monster slams the demon in five.

Winner: Braun Strowman

Seth Rollins VS Bobby Roode

Because of Seth's knee injury, Roode smells blood in the water.  It brings out his heelish side in spite of himself, and he works that knee like it's no tomorrow.  After about 17 minutes of drama, Seth manages to school boy Roode while he's going for the Glorious DDT.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat VS "Macho Man" Randy Savage

Much like Perfect VS Hitman from KOTR 93, this is a dream rematch that's as good or better than their more famous first encounter (and one we could have gotten at Wrestlemania IV if not for the dumb booking decision to put Greg Valentine over in the first round; I love The Hammer, I still owe him ten bucks (true story) but this should've been a no-brainer).  This time, Savage gets his win back in an all-time classic that I cannot do justice by trying to describe.

Winner: "Macho Man" Randy Savage

ROUND THREE:

Daniel Bryan gets a bye because of the Undertaker/Lesnar no-contest.

AJ Styles VS Andre The Giant

AJ really takes advantage of an exhausted Giant, getting him tangled in the ropes at one point, but when he goes for the Phenomenal Forearm, Andre swats him out of the air like a bug.  Then he stomps him in the chest so hard the LEDs on the ring apron go out.  Andre falls on Styles in sloppy fashion (dude was in absolute misery by this point; it was a miracle he could get in the ring at all) and smothers AJ for the pin.

Winner: Andre The Giant

"Ravishing" Rick Rude VS Braun Strowman

Rick's tricks don't work, because Braun don't play.

Winner: Braun Strowman

Seth Rollins VS "Macho Man" Randy Savage

Seth can barely walk as he enters this contest.  Savage, babyface supreme at this point, does everything in his power not to take advantage of this, but that just makes Seth mad because he feels he's being disrespected.  After Savage picks the leg and goes to lay an elbow into it, he hesitates, which allows Seth to cradle him for a near fall.  Realizing Rollins will never give up, Savage lays into him with punches, axe handles, and gets him into position for the elbow.  He misses.  Seth tries to line him up for the Blackout, but his knee gives way before he can execute.  Savage body slams him, climbs to the top and delivers the coup-de-grace (his elbow; not Finn's finisher).  Savage tries to shake Seth's hand, but Rollins is too angry and embarrassed to reciprocate as he's helped up the ramp.

Winner: "Macho Man" Randy Savage

SEMI-FINALS:

Daniel Bryan VS Andre The Giant

After taking some early punishment, Daniel Bryan is able to mount an offensive and even manages to get Andre to his knees for the Yes kicks, but the Giant grabs his leg before he can deliver the last one and is able to leg whip Bryan out of the ring with one arm (his non-dominant one at that).

Ted DiBiassi and Virgil are in Andre's corner, and while Andre has the referee's attention this dastardly duo put the boots to Bryan.  But then Andre rolls out of the ring to retrieve the American Dragon and the referee catches the pair at their devious deed.  Being this is an important match, the referee doesn't disqualify Andre outright, but he ejects his two cornermen.

This bout of bad timing causes DiBiassi to get frustrated at Andre for being so stupid.  He fucks up big time by tapping Andre on the chest with a wad of cash, implying ownership.  Andre doesn't take too kind to that, as he backs DiBiassi up the ramp with intimidation alone.  Meanwhile, Bryan makes it back into the ring, Andre is counted out, and Daniel Bryan is going to the finals.

Winner: Daniel Bryan

"Macho Man" Randy Savage VS Braun Strowman

Savage dinks and dunks, mounting offensives when he can inbetween harsh beatdowns from the Monster.  Savage slams Braun at one point.  It takes three elbows, but Savage finally puts away the Monster Among Men to advance to the finals.

Winner: "Macho Man" Randy Savage

FINALS:

Daniel Bryan VS "Macho Man" Randy Savage

Had these two met in their respective primes, this would have been one of the best matches in the western hemisphere.  Two of the best to ever do it; two different eras; two incredibly athletic men with meticulous mat acumen and high-flying excitement.  In the end, I have to give it to Daniel Bryan.  He is more well-rounded, he's over as fuck, and it's the better way to end a story for the comeback kid.  Plus, I think the winged eagle belt would look rad on him.  Daniel Bryan: Champion of Wrestlemania.

Winner and Champion of the Wrestlemans:
Daniel Bryan

So there you have it.  Thanks for reading my little excursion into fantasy booking.  I hope you enjoyed it, and we'll see what next year's Wrestlemania has in store (probably snow if this year is anything to judge it by).  Til then, may you always have backup for run-ins, never have heat with the boys and always kick out at two!
