Disembodiment

Stagnant February’s cold yawns
Astoundingly bleak picture to paint
Hunger pangs at weakened walls
Soon to cloy the teeth of tolerance
Eyes dry spoil in dust
Watch full of urine soaks the calendar wall
Spectacular nothing of wasted to-do
Signals for the end

Beauty and brutality merge
Now and forever inextricably entwine
Saliva congeals in the mouth and on the floor
Heart heavy with self-punishment
Eyes with more luggage than an airplane
Resentment tingles with an itch
As the stench grows unbearable

Towers of cramps and ache
Dilapidated hopes, dreams, and spirit
Mortality mesh in style for vest
Distraction and discord
Distrust, as well
Mustn’t forget distrust
Shaved apes inheriting thrown feces
Banana peel world self-destructs
