Some Thoughts On The Live Sumo Feed That Randomly Popped Up On YouTube Just Now
It's weird seeing them go through the traditional pre-match Sumo stuff with Autotuned J-Trap and J-Pop playing in the background.
The chat is in a lot of different languages, none of them Japanese.
The pre-match interview packages are longer than the matches by about double, and they're only 60 seconds tops.
(So you might say the dudes are dummy thicc and the matches are stupid quick.)
Live Sumo wrestling was one of those theoretical privileges you heard about in the 80's of having satellite TV, and here I am getting it for free on Youtube. Progress?
